Hold on. The mission is far greater than you. If the responsibility is a lot, if the amount you give seems like too much, just remember that means your impact is greater..
For YEARS I felt like all I did was give. All I did was let people "pick my brain." It felt like I gave so much value, helped people through so much.. and received no compensation, no return or reward..
But when I realized the impact, when I figured out the real mission, when I leaned on God for strength and allowed Him to work through me everything changed.
It wasn't just my empty cup I was pouring from anymore.. it was His endless mercy and strength. His power and love was shining through me and onto other people..
So now when she tells me about how I've impacted her life, when she says she hears my voice in her head when journaling, when she tells me I've inspired her..
I smile.... because I know it wasn't really me, but who I draw my strength from.
So hold on. Though you may feel weak, He is strong. & trust me, the rewards are worth it. The impact is worth it. You reap what you sow.
