Hey, hey! We are settling in nicely as true Fredericksburg locals and I have to say that everyone here is just the nicest and so welcoming. Leading up to the move from big city (HOU) to small town, we were super excited, but it’s also a huge change!!! And honestly intimidating to jump into a new place with new people.
Once we finally made it (don’t plan a move during an ice storms, folks), we were able to take a hugeeee breath and every morning feels better and more of a confirmation that this is where we should be. It’s also so comforting to live around the corner from the A-Frames to take care of anything that could come up!
And just so y’all don’t think it’s all roses around here- we still don’t have HVAC in 1/2 the house, hot water (thank goodness Dan hooked a temporary camp water heater for the shower), or a functioning dishwasher or washing machine 😄 This old house oozes charm and we are incredibly grateful to get to be in it and discover its’ quirks, but she needs some love. 📸: @jordanslagter
