Looking for gifts for the gardeners in your life this holiday season?

- Ariel Chezar “The Flower Workshop”
- Cathy Graham “Second Bloom: Cathy Graham’s Art of the Table.”
- Stewart “Flower Confidential”
- Diffenbaugh “The Language of Flowers”
- Jewel “The Earth is in her Hands”
- Elworthy “The Land Gardeners: Cut Flowers”
- Lenhardt Jr “Gardens of the North Shore of Chicago”
⭐️ Snips - I love ARS snips. I have 4-5 varieties of these.
⭐️ A gardener’s tool belt - I know, I know it’s kind of weird but not for me or other serious gardeners. I can fit my snips, tags, ties, markers and phone in there easily. I use @floretflower leather one and I have it hanging in my mud room for daily use.
⭐️ Copper plant tags - I love these. My perennials like roses and peonies are labeled in my garden carefully with these. Be sure to use a true garden marker as Sharpie markers will wear off.
⭐️ Classes - try your local botanic garden or for something a little extra I love @willowcrossleycreates floristry class. She’s inspiring and accessible and goes through everything from vases to tools and arrangements.
⭐️ Seeds or dahlia tubers. @floretflower is selling fabulous mixed seeds for growing a coordinated and gorgeous cut flower garden. And dahlia tubers (to arrive in the spring) can be bought from @coldwaterflowers, @thefarmatoxford , @coseytownflowers, @river.merle.farm and @swanislanddahlias.
⭐️ Sunscreen - As an Australian gardener who has had melanoma, sunscreen is my #1 tool I turn to every morning, noon and afternoon. I love Elta MD and La Roche Posay’s 50 spf daily antioxidant serum.
⭐️ Trellis. I’m obsessed with my orange trellis from @terrasculpture that are both garden art and plant supports.
⭐️ Hats - along with sunscreen I’m never without a hat in the garden. @janessaleone is one of my favorite gifts I received for my birthday this year.
⭐️ Gift card for flowers during winter. Locally I turn to @theflowershopinglencoe, @chestnut.st.flowers, @frontporch_flowers, or @wellyhaus
