Light leg day today 🍑 My leg days will stay light until baby boy gets here. Really I’m talking about compound movements like squats, deadlifts and leg press. Other than light Romanian deadlifts with a wide stance I haven’t been doing deadlifts, my lower back can’t handle it right now. Your joints get all loose towards the end of your pregnancy to get ready for the big day and you can definitely feel it. Heavy or even half the weight I normally do for squats and leg press give me Braxton hicks so I keep it light. I just do exercises that don’t bother me like leg extensions, hamstring curls, donkey kicks, side kicks, things like that. For upper body days I can actually go ham because it doesn’t bother my stomach at all 🙌🏻 which is nice because lifting heavy really relieves a lot of stress for me 😅.
