Time oat! I pecan't believe this was so good

Carson Kitchen, originally from Las Vegas, opened in Salt Lake City a few months ago. They offer a tapas style menu, and have brunch Sunday mornings. We had the pleasure of enjoying plates from both their brunch and main menu, and being guided through dishes by owner, Cory Harwell. The idea behind their menu is to include more unusual foods like caviar or ox tail within recognizable dishes.
My favorite brunch dish was this oatmeal brulee, where each bite almost had a different variety of flavors to it. This is oatmeal elevated on a whole new level. Other favorites included the sopapilla french toast, Devil's eggs, and cocoa-espresso NY strip.
