Accountability Arguably the most worthwhile reason to have a workout partner is accountability. If both go regularly, they will know whether a workout has been missed. 2. They also give each other someone to celebrate milestones with. 3. Validation Many people who are trying to lose weight get discouraged because of the rough weeks where weight doesn’t come off. WEIGHT LOSS UPDATE: so it’s been a couple weeks since moving to a calorie deficit, I have lost about 5 pounds (some of those will be from eating less volume of course) and I’m starting to see the changes 🥳 I honestly wasn’t expecting it to be so quick because I didn’t see proper changes for about a month or two when I initially lost weight in 2020, but I guess they arrive quicker when you’re starting at a lower body fat percentage. The biggest issue with flexibility and mobility is the fact there is a lack of movement in the first place for many of you. There’s a term “use it or lose it” The distance/range of movement a muscle and your body can move depends a lot on how often it goes through that range of movement and how far. Many injuries can happen due to the lack of flexibility within a muscle and the lack of mobility in a movement. Stretching and mobility for many sucks. I get that, I understand. However, rehabilitating an injury sucks even more. But let’s look at it from another perspective. We should all train for performance. Regardless of your ability, starting point and goals. You should always be optimising your lifestyle for the better. So, could your lack of flexibility and mobility be preventing you or slowing you down towards your goal. It 100% can. Not only does an increase in movement reduce the risk of injury but it can increase the potential and work capacity of your performance. (Outcome) Want to reach your goals? Work on the little things. You don’t have to be able to fold yourself into funky shapes like a Pretzel, but it would be nice to be able to touch your toes. Being able to move from one position to another freely, with ease, can directly impact your goals. I’m not saying stretching and mobility is the answer to everything, but it sure answers for a lot. An increase in movement can have an increase in strength. Flexibility and mobility should not just be at the foundations of your training. It’s should be at the foundations of your life. Les disques intervertébraux adorent être hydratés pour mieux soutenir votre colonne vertébrale. ✅- Mangez sainement sans vous emporter dans des régimes stricts qui ne fonctionnent pas pour la plupart du temps. Diminuer le sodium et les sucres transformés, augmenter vos portions de fruits et légumes, assurez vous d'avoir assez de protéines, vitamines et minéraux. HOME WORKOUT COMING AT YA’S Didn’t quite realise how much these are helping people out, so I will be getting out as many as I can for you lot! I can guarantee this works you hard, and it has every minute/rest catered for. 30 minutes is all you need, let’s kick it: MINUTES 1-15, perform 7 rounds of: ➖10 American kettlebell swings (can be using a single dumbbell also - just alternate 5 per arm) ➖8 burpees over the kettlebell/object Then rest the remaining time. MINUTES 15-20: 1 tricep get up per side 1 shoulder tap per side 2 tricep get up per side 2 shoulder tap per side *You’ve got 4 minutes to get to the highest Rep cycle you can Then rest 1 minute MINUTES 20-30, complete 5 rounds of the following: 20 Russian twists 20 glut bridges 10 weighted sit ups *rest as you need to between sets AND YOURE DONE! 30 minutes is all it takes and you’ve hit your endorphin rush for the day ✅✅ Enjoy!
