One ticket to Lowcountry please ✨
Charleston is a pastel dream. I snapped this photo while waiting for a table at Husk, a very famous Charleston restaurant located inside a restored Victorian-era home that has a rotating menu of Southern food (just fry me something and I’m happy). There are many restaurants in Charleston located in old homes that specialize in Southern/Lowcountry cuisine (we also enjoyed Poogan’s Porch). What is true Lowcountry cuisine? Think crab, shrimp, fish, grits, etc. I personally would rather just eat ALL of the pimento cheese and fried chicken. 🤤 If you’re in the Charleston area, make reservations for popular restaurants in advance because reservation times are hard to come by!
