What an honor to speak with my cousin, Claudia, where we dove into chocolate, our curiosity in learning other cultures, and our own stories of balancing our multi-cultural heritage.

Hi everyone 🙋♀️
It's Sunday which means a new episode on the @multiwomanandco podcast 🎧:
#𝟲: 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝘀
In this episode I have the pleasure to introduce you to my cousin Charlotte Walter who lives in the Bay Area in California. Her mother is my father’s younger sister, and we have met only 3 times during our whole lives.
She is the founder and chocolatier of Charlotte Truffles (@chartruffles ), an award-winning chocolate shop that focuses on sharing cultural stories through chocolates.
Actually, being a chocolatier is her second career after being an engineer at medical device companies.
And luckily for us, she decided to pursue her dream. Her mission is to celebrate the cultural diversity in our community through flavors. Each flavor represents a specific culture. For example, rose water saffron that connects to the Indian community, and mango con habanero for the Mexican community.
We recently discovered how much we have in common, like moving to another country when we were 8, and our longing for connecting with different cultures. As you can imagine, the conversation covers chocolate 🍫, culture and our connection with our roots and family😃
Some additonal interesting facts about Charlotte:
👉 Her life changing trip was a solo trip to Kenya; where she taught children in Mombasa. and where she learned that she was stronger than she thought.
👉 She loves T-rex 🦖 jokes. Maybe you can share one later?
👉 She has lived in 3 continents: Europe, Asia and America where she currently resides with her husband.
