Earlier this year, I hit my stride. I was intermittent fasting, using my lunch breaks to practice shooting, and meditating daily. The pandemic had blown us sideways, but I hit the ground running.
Recently, it all took a backseat. The pandemic reached my family and my community took hits. I started working through my lunch breaks. Friends left, family members were hospitalized, and my training paces slowed.
My friend Cathy once told me that the things we let go of first are often the things we need the most. So while I was way too busy for it, I stopped and took a photo of my lunch today, for the first time in a week or two.
Making this took about 10 mins, from start to animation, and while it feels wasteful, I think holding onto this creative exercise is important. Whatever it is you like to do, I hope you make the time, even if just the smallest amount of it, to do it today. 🤗 💕🌞🌈
