Earth Cards: The Deadly Nightshade
Some days we’re sunflowers, some days we’re just buds. And sometimes we grow toxic, like a deadly nightshade. Once we are, we become a threat to everyone surrounding us. Touching us will cause them harm, we may cut them open and end up providing them wounds. Letting them swallow our words like petals are dangerous, it’ll poison their mindset as well as their well-being. There’s no perfect excuse for being toxic to everyone, but I can assure you that no matter how toxic or dangerous we are, that deadly-nightshade-phase of us will fade if we admit that there’s something wrong with us. Yes, self-awareness and mindfulness that there is something that needs to be fixed is important rather than hiding it and convincing yourself that there’s not. Admit that sometimes, your behavior is toxic; sometimes, you are toxic. That’s the first step of healing and becoming a sunflower.
P.S. This is the 52nd Card, and it’s connected to my Luminary Card which is my first card. This card is very hard to deal with. I did this before my pens arrived, and I used a different pen for the detailing. I used the MG silver 0.4 pen I have, and when I scanned it, it’s very difficult to add color in it. This card is very experimental, yet it is very special to me. It’s like a confession of being the toxic person whom you’re trying to hide in your entire cosmic lifetime.
On the side note, Deadly nightshade is a real poisonous plant that symbolizes poison, toxic, deception, danger, and death. Touching it may wound you and when you eat it in suffficient doses, it may paralyze your nerve endings in your involuntary muscles.
