TBH I wanted to strip down at the doctors office before getting on the scale. TBH I felt sad because I weighed more than I have in a while, and I wondered how much my shoes weighed. TBH it impacted my mood all day even though I tried to ignore that it was bothering me. TBH sometimes I see a body in the mirror I’m proud of and other times I poke at it wishing it was different. TBH I know I’m physically healthier, stronger, and faster than when I weighed less. ... I am physical healthy, but I stress more than I’d like to over my body and weight. People can’t see that, and I think it’s important to acknowledge the imbalance between the various aspects of a persons health. Just a thought if you find yourself scrolling through social media and making comparisons. Goal: Physical fitness ⚖️ Mental health

Eg, a 23yr old & a 52yr old may have the same subcutaneous body fat measurement (fat under the skin) but the 23yr old may receive a reading of 15% & the 52yr old 20%. Week 2 of #shreddytorumble ✅. It’s been a good week! Done all shreddy10s, 2 leg days, 1 upper body session and two yoga workouts. Did have two takeaways though which wasn’t good but oh well. It’s just one of those weeks! Tomorrow I start my final placement before finals in March which is so scary 😮. I can’t believe my time at med school is nearly. Finals felt so far away when I first started and now they aren’t too far away 😬. With the new placement I’ll have less free time to fit in both revision and workouts so I may not be doing as many extra workouts every week but I should still easily be able to fit in my Shreddy10 workouts. Didn’t manage to try and shreddy recipes like I had hoped to this week but I’ll try again next week. Which ones would you guys recommend? What I do whenever I don’t feel motivated ... 🙃 Lately I’ve been feel demotivated to be productive and work towards my goals 😬 I think with so much uncertainty with everything going on, it just makes it feel like any plans you make could completely change or would have to be extended 🤷🏼‍♀️ But I also just feel a lot of pressure to do everything I possibly can whilst I’m able to stay at home longer 😢 These are some of the things that I find help me when I’m feeling demotivated and stressed: 1. Actually give myself a BREAK 😂 Yes work hard but don’t feeling like you have to be productive and on a roll 24/7! Give yourself some rest and relax to recharge 🙌🏻 2. Go out for a walk (if you can)! I find that this really helps clear my mind and gets rid of pessimistic thoughts 💭 My mindset almost resets into a more positive one! Listen to your favourite music and just think about your goals 🌟 3. Make a REALISTIC to do list for the day! Having thing written down just helps me stay on track and remember what I need to do 😂 I know I’m more productive in the mornings and early afternoons so I challenge myself to get things done then so I can relax in the evening 😴 4. Talk to someone if you really need to! Whether that’s friends, family or a professional, just talking about it helps as someone could feel the same, or they can almost help bring you back up to reality and help you see the bright side 😊💞 5. SLEEP. Get enough of it!! 😂 Honestly this is a big one for me because when I’m sleep deprived I get unproductive and I just don’t have a good mindset! My SUNDAY routine! 🌟🙌⠀ ⠀ You won’t catch me in the gym on Sunday’s (typically).. ⠀ ⠀ Sunday is a great day to rest! REST is just as important as work. When you have adequate rest, you can give your all to the days you work. It’s all about balance. ⠀ ⠀ I usually have a cheat meal on Sundays as well. My cheat meal is an additional 500 calories. ⠀ ⠀ I also love to schedule massages on the weekends as a reward for working hard in the gym. ⠀ ⠀ I love to meal prep on Sunday’s since I have extra time plus I love to be prepared for the coming week. ⠀ ⠀ Sunday is a day I like to reflect on how my week went, and what I want to accomplish for the coming week. Having this time to reflect and plan really helps me focus and prepare and stay focused. LEG DAY 🦋 Day 24/66 🦈 Happy Sunday Friends 🤍 I hope you’re all having a great weekend and I believe in you 🧚🏼 Yesterday I felt so strong with my deadlifts. I haven’t been as consistent with training them as I have been with squats. But they felt so smooth and went up easy. Taking it slow and I only did 75% of my projected 1RM. 210lbs felt like an RPE 5. I haven’t tested my deadlift 1RM in over a year. Last time my 1RM was 255 lbs and now I feel I definitely have more than that in the tank. & that secret stash of chalk that I found definitely helped because my grip strength was failing me and I’m a weirdo that doesn’t use straps. When its to cold to run outside, you run inside, duh. Hamster wheel on full force. Built up to 4 miles on this torture rack, it's a love/hate relationship. It's boring and time slows down, which is great for mental toughness. A lot of failure in running is getting board while doing it. With the treadmill you're bored the whole damn time. I must say at first I was not really motivated and then I had a hole in my front tire and had to repair it before I could go to work. Was such an unmotivational morning for me 😂 and than I came a bit too late for work. But I am now at work, feel amazing because I could be active today through riding the bike and tried one of my zucchini bites out and must say they are definitely worth a try out. 🤩 So everything went fine at the end today. It's just like that. Sometimes everything seems difficult but is easy to solve at the end. Sonntag ist Meal Prep bei mir angesagt. Da ich in der Woche viel Hähnchen esse (für die Gainz 💪🏻😎) werd ich wohl immer mal ne neue Gewürzmischung ausprobieren! Heute gibts das Brathähnchen - Gewürz von @ankerkraut 🤩 Die Hühnerbrüste haben ich mit Öl benetzt, dann mit der Gewürzmischung eingerieben und im Kühlschrank ca 8 Stunden ruhen lassen. Anschließend gingen die Filets in den Aerofryer. Welp. Back in MA. The running part of my 3 mile run today wasn’t so bad. It was the idiotic mile cool down walk I left for myself to get back home that was brutal. Note to self: you’re not in Florida anymore. Do your run then GTF INSIDE 🥶🏃‍♀️ .. Also, running with a mask saved my lungs. Last time I ran in the cold I was coughing for hours after. So if you have that problem, get one of those plastic mask inserts and run with the mask.
