Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice; is definitely one of my favorite games released for PS4. Developed by @fromsoftware the same studio that gave us the Dark Souls series and Bloodborne, #Sekiro delivers the same brutal, extremely hard, and unforgiving combat as you could find in any souls-like game but in a different setting and with fewer RPG elements and no multiplayer component. I have to admit this has been the very first game I've played by FromSoftware and to this day, when I remember my playthrough, I can't forget how intense the fights were and how almost every moment you were at the edge of your seat, begging to find a Sculptor's Idol to finally save your progress and take a breath.
If you haven't played this game yet, prepare yourself, because this is the kind of game that even the most insignificant enemy can kill you in two strikes, and yes, you are going to die A LOT! However, there's nothing more satisfying than going back to the earlier areas in the game, after being through most of it, and facing those same enemies that made your life miserable at the beginning, and finally, be able to kill them swiftly and unscathed and realizing how much you have grown and learn.
My only HUGE regret was achieving only the "Shura" ending of the game and, wrongfully believed that was the end of it, to find out later that I had only obtained the bad, crappy ending. By the time I found out it was already too late... I was already playing my next game on my list and had lost all the training learned in Sekiro, and as you can imagine, the learning curve in Sekiro is quite steep.
I need to retake the mantle of "Sekiro, the one-armed wolf" again and settle the score. At least I would like to obtain another of the 4 endings available. Time will tell.
Have you played Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice? What was the boss that gave you nightmares and spend hours killing? For me, it was Genichiro Ashina, that freaking lighting arrow was so hard to deflect! Let me know in the comment section below!
And as always... No matter what, never stop #gaming
