I would’ve posted this last night, but I was way too emotional to even try. Yesterday was officially adoption day for the Avengers. It was a long, crazy road to get here, filled with sleepless nights, frantic feedings, and plenty of impromptu baths. They came to me in a cardboard box, and with a lot of hard work and dedication from @pjbraunfitness , @miss_rissaaa , and myself, we managed to raise 5 of the original 6 from tiny beans to happy and healthy kittens.
I knew from the beginning that this was going to be hard on me, especially after losing Thor just a few days in. Letting go would be the toughest part of all.
After many days of careful discussion, we decided we couldn’t bare to split up the team forever, and decided to keep them all in the family. So while it’s not goodbye forever, I will sorely miss being Nick Fury and gathering all five together on my lap. But it was time, and as their mama, it was time to let them go.
The full video documenting their journey, from finding them to bring PJ and Marissa into the fray, was shot by @abominablefry and will be released sometime next week. Thank you everyone who came with me on this wild ride, who checked on me and supported me while I juggled my little heroes, and of course PJ and Marissa for all of their help and guidance!
Spay, neuter, and donate to your local shelter.
For one last time- Avengers, assemble!
