My heart is broken tonight. 💔
Our sweet Lily passed away today.
It all happened so fast; I’m having a hard time comprehending it. I’m thankful she was in my lap when she passed and I know that she knew that she was so loved.
I’ll always be thankful to Renee Welch who didn’t want to let anyone adopt this feisty little girl. She was the runt of the litter, but also the first to bark, first to open her eyes, first to walk out of the crate. Renee felt like we had what it would take to give this girl a great home. We left that day with Ozzy and Lily. ❤️❤️
Lily was a tough girl and a survivor. She was dog-napped and missing for 12 days when she was 3 years old .....until her “new owners” took her to their vet. Thankfully the vet scanned her for a microchip and we got her back.
Any dog that came into our home would have to deal with Lily guarding the food and water bowl. Maybe she would let you have some food and water.
Send some love Ozzy’s way tonight as he learns to live without his beloved sister by his side.
RIP Lily ❤️
I know you crossed over that rainbow bridge and found Leo, Gertie, and Fritz (her parents and grandparent) 🌈 🐾🐾🐾🐾
We will love you forever and ever. 😭
