why are people on online forums, esp. quora and reddit, so pretentious?
imdb: this is one of the most beautiful shows right now. the story is about these townspeople who come together with what they experience. i loved it, entertainment value is real high!
rotten tomatoes: this actor stars as the titular character. their dialogue with actor b is captivating, because of the blend of humor and nonchalance.
real life: that person was kinda attractive. agreed, that scene was iconic. the romance was kinda meh, though
quora + reddit: you know, the way this character reacts to their situation perfectly feeds into the wide-impact, slow-burn message of the story conveyed through a psychological horror backdrop. this character is pitiable; on a journey to their paradise, then falls back down again; after all, life is nothing but a whirlwind of choices and the ones that you manage to gaze at for a little longer stick with you, but not for long; that is what the character motivations want you to retain. i could praise the technical achievement for years, but the theming, context, and the social commentary are too profound to pass by.
