Happy ADOPTION day AGGIE!
Thank you to her foster in Tennessee who took such good care of her while she had her heartworm treatment, to Jennifer who drove miles to go get her recently and to her new family who patiently waited for her.
It took our family months to get this angel into our lives. Through no fault of her own Aggie had heartworm and was unable to make the trip in Feb to Canada, then Covid hit. We thought we lost her. We kept checking on her to see how she was doing but no word on when she could come to Canada or even if she still could come. A month ago I got an email saying they had a plan for her to come. We jumped for joy. And again no fault of her own Aggie had a long stressful trip to get here. She panted for a few days, hated to be inside but she has gained our trust now and she can leave her troubled past behind her. She is a gentle giant with a huge heart. She loves her pats, all her treats, her other fur family and loves her walks. Our favourite thing about Aggie is the fact that she can sleep peacefully on her doggie bed, she doesn't' have to be on alert anymore. This is her time to chill and to enjoy life with a family that will love her forever. We love you Aggie and we are so lucky to have you in our lives. Thank you Just Paws for not giving up on Aggie and going over and above to get her here.
Today’s adventures included going to a park to work on my socialization skills and going for a dip in a creek with my doodle girls 🐾🐾🐩🐩🥰🥰 - we tried really hard to sit still for a picture but we were so excited!
