To our amazing Instagram friends,
Last week, two of our favorite schnauzer moms (@ovi_theschnauzer & @thedogshanley )
got together and created a wonderful Instagram live. I watched and listened intently as the subject matter intrigued me. I laughed. I cried. And I took away something important. Every day (and multiple times a day) we all scroll through our feeds. Seeing all the aDOGable faces of all the beautiful furbabies brings happiness to us. That’s why we do it. But behind those pictures, are the real life stories. Some people share more than others. Some just share the light hearted
moments. Both help is in many ways we don’t realize at the moment.
But what this schnauzer mom learned in that IG Live, was you never know just how much impact your behind the scenes story can have on another person. Just how helpful it can really be.
As most of you are aware, Rosie was diagnosed with Cushing’s last year. At times we have shared what she was/is going though on a daily basis. But most of the time, we don’t. Not for any other reason then we don’t want to bring anyone down. We don’t want to burden anyone else with what is going on. But I realize that maybe, just maybe, we can help someone with our story.
Over the next week, I am going to share her story with Cushing’s. From day 1 to present day. Because if we can help just ONE person by sharing, we have done a beautiful thing with this little IG account my dogs make me run.
