🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ I previously mentioned that I now have a google alert set for the term "depressed vagina." The fact that I get so many notifications as a result may actually depress my vagina, if my vagina could become depressed, which for the 1000th time IT CANNOT. Also, telling women that not having sex is going to cause vaginal atrophy or pelvic pain is so wrong on so many levels!! Sex is great and it has a lot of health benefits, but lack of sex will not lead to vaginal atrophy. Vaginal atrophy is primarily due to a lack of estrogen, which means it would benefit from hormone replacement therapy, not antidepressants which makes the term depressed vagina even more bogus than it already is. How can we make this term go away?? Do I need to make an animated @pixar type film? That volcano one made me sob like a baby, so just imagine that with a vagina talking about how not depressed it is. Brilliant right? I will happily accept my Oscar now. Until then, let's summarize: 1) the vagina cannot be depressed 2) If you don't have sex your vagina will not become atrophic 3) Don't force yourself to have sex because a magazine, blog or anyone else tells you to!! Do it because you want to, or don't! You do you. .
