The ONLY museum in the nation focused on Puerto Rican art is located in the center of Humboldt Park, Chicago. The National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts & Culture houses three galleries as well as spaces for art classes, exhibitions, and performances. The three paintings in the illustration are a part of “Expresión de Barrio” by Reynaldo Rodriguez. Admission to this wonderful gem is free albeit is temporarily closed due to the pandemic.
