So yesterday, as to get a head start on my goal of reading five books before I can buy any new ones, I picked up a book I’ve had on my shelf for a long time. It’s the final installment of the City of Bones series by Cassandra Clare - A City of Heavenly Fire. I bought this book years ago, I was obsessed with the entire series, but for some reason around the time the last book came out, I fell out of love with reading. And honestly this happens to me from time to time. I have to keep reading books that hold my interest and Once in awhile I’ll stop reading for months at a time until I pick up a book and find that spark again. I found that spark at the end of 2019 and it hasn’t not stopped since. Yesterday, sitting down to FINALLY read the last book of a series I love, I read 230 pages in one sitting and I can’t wait to to power through some more pages today. In total it’s 730 pages - if I keep up at that pace I can be finished by tomorrow or Saturday.
